If possible, it makes the project a little more feasible. <br /> But a traditional square sail rig produces enough power to drive the whole ship at speeds up to 20 knots. Takes a big crew the handle the sails which is why it isn't used. <br /> But somehow, carrying all that Flettner rotor machinery for just a modest fuel saving doesn't look very attractive either.
