Time Warner cable dropped WMUR, the voice of New Hampshire. It's just another ABC channel, but it's been transmitting from Manchester since the 1950's and always had good local (NH) news and stuff. Apparently the blackout comes from a price squabble between Time Warner and ABC. I'm north of Franconia Notch which means no way will an antenna bring in channel 9 , too much granite mountain between me and the transmitter.

Welcome to the club. As a North Country Dish Network subscriber, I've been without WMUR for several years. Not sure who is more stubborn, the folks at the TV station or those at the provider.
Well, you know suits, dumb as a bag of hammers. In actual fact, carrying WMUR is good for WMUR and good for Time-Warner. WMUR gets wider viewership which helps them sell advertizing time. Time Warner gets more content which helps them get and keep paying subscribers. Adults should be able to work out a mutually beneficial deal. Too bad suits on both sides are not adults.
