Windows, Bill Gate's gift to civilization, is like Swiss cheese. It's got so many holes that high school kids can hack into it. Far as I am concerned, running Windows is hanging a hack me sign on your fanny.
If you care about security, don't run Windows. Run Linux or Unix or Macintosh. They are all a hundred times more secure than any flavor of Windows.

I'd say the chance is 100%. It takes constant vigilance and a really good IT team to keep Windows networks and machines secure. Even then they're vulnerable.
And even if your crack IT team is on the job, Windows update is undermining them. For instance "autorun", a gaping security hole, can be turned off if you know what you are doing. But Windows update will turn it back on behind your back. I managed to turn off that Win10 update whine. But Windows update turned it back on.
